Farewells

I've been blessed with many good friends and family. The last two weeks have been spent saying good bye to them. People have been generous with gifts, lunch and dinner outings and wonderful surprises. On my last staff meeting at St Albert Public Preschool, the staff surprised me with an Italian buffet. Tables were covered with red and white checkerboard table clothes, vases were filled with red, green and white candy and flowers. After lunch they presented me with a neat canvas art work, with  this inscription,"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."  I Love it. It will hang in my office when I return.  The staff at the preschool are compassionate and have big hearts for all the children who attend.
