Really had a blast in Torino. Bruno is so funny. We also met up with Andria and her dad, Roberto. They are here for research on a book Andria is writing on a fictional Waldensian family living in the late 1500's.
Bruno could not pronouce Hyrum's name. Ok, none of my cousins could. But, Bruno was really having a hard time with it. Finally he asked him for his middle name, Scott. He said. "Good, I could pronounce Scott, I'll call you Scott".
The shroud of Turin is hidden behind this glass case. But couldn't see it because it was behind a case, behind the glass case. You think if they really believed it was really Jesus, they would want everyone to see it any time.
We came home two days later. Quickly changed and headed for the seniior's pot luck. Hyrum came too. Sister Stevens made another cake, this time for his birthday. Lucky boy to spend your birthday in Rome. It was a whirlwind, but I'm glad I did it. I hadn't seen Bruno in over 30 years. Once again, we were treated royally. Felt so welcomed.
