Missionaries Coming and Going

Every six weeks we have missionaries leaving to go home or arriving the mission. The above picture shows a banner Sister Stevens and I made to welcome our new missionaries. There's always departing and welcoming dinners going on. This one was for the arrival of our August missionaries. We had a nice lunch waiting for them in the cultural hall. However, the plane was late and bags were missing so they never made it to their lunch and went straight for the arrival dinner at the Villa. There seems to always be some excitement going on especially with arriving missionaries.
Elders Smit, Sorgiacomo, Phillips and Andryl. We love feeding the missionaries in our home.
We are either baking for them or they sometimes bake something for us. Here Elder Smit made us yummy cookies.
Ah, Elder Smit. He was so wonderful.  He always saluted when he left, which reminded of Andrew cause that's what he always does.
Elder Kemple transferred in August and Elder Philips left just about the same time.
And then there was Elder Sorgiacomo. He and Elder Smit were the Office Elders and we took over for them so that they could go proselyte. He was a wealth of knowledge. He was transferred to Bari, so I still get to talk to him when I need help. These Elders lived one floor below us so we saw them frequently.
