September Transfers

Sister Waddaups has quite the collection of aprons she's purchased as she travels to different Zone Conferences. Of course this one from Calabria is my favorite.

Elder Stevens loves his ice cream. Elder Stevens is a retired medical doctor, now serving as financial clerk in the office.

Sister Millet and Elder Rutledge
Sister Stevens broke her wrist just after arriving. She and her husband returned to Utah to have it operated.
Transfers are always a busy time. Trying to arrange planes, trains and buses for all those missionaries being transferred is a lot of work. As mentioned in an earlier post, something always goes wrong with the arriving missionaries. There is always lost luggage and travel connections missed. This group came in so late, that by the time we fed them and had them open up their new area, I didn't get home till 1:00 in the morning.
The fun part for me is helping with the departing and arriving dinners. I love hearing their testimonies and plans for the new adventures in their lives. Even though I've been out for almost four months, I've really grown to know and love a lot of these young people.
Anziano Quarisima was serving in Rome and is transferred to Sardegnia

Anziano who served as Assistant to the President is now serving in Taranto
Sorella Nef returns home to California

All going home
