In 1977 I met an energetic young lady named Debbie Ramming. She was serving a mission in Toronto, Ontario. She taught me the gospel just before I got baptized as a member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints . We lost touch after she returned home to California. Thanks to a mutual friend, Art Rutledge, we touched base by phone a year and a half ago. After reading about my call to Rome on Face Book, Debbie, now Debbie Cohen called me to say that she and her husband would be in Rome just shortly after I would get here. Co-incidence? I don't think so. So after 40 years we were reunited. It was like time hadn't separated us. Even her wonderful husband Steve seemed like a long lost buddy. We spent time wondering the sites of Rome while talking about our families. We had such fun. Two people who are the salt of the earth.
