Since I will be here for a while, I plan to take my time visiting different sites and cities. So far I have taken a tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. I hope by the time someone comes visit me I will be a good personal tour guide! I'm looking forward to going to some museums and art galleries and tour outside of southern Rome. Some nights I take the bus and go walk around ancient Rome just for the fun of it; that's one of the perks living here. The side streets are filled with open air markets selling clothes and souvenirs. There are people from all walks of life who make Rome their home. And then there are all kinds of people from around the world who visit. So, there are always a lot of people on the streets and buses. Transportation is good and pretty affordable. If I can't walk somewhere, I take the bus and or metro.
